FAQs
Where are you based?
I live in the Deep South of Western Australia, however my work takes me around the state, the country and internationally.
I don’t charge a travel fee for Weddings in Perth or the South West. If you aren’t in this area and interested in my work, please get in touch for a travel estimate.
Are you a film photographer or digital?
I shoot both! I use a combination of both mediums. I find with the fast paced, light changing nature of Weddings it works well to use the advantages of both film & digital.
How do your Packages work?
I have a Base Package with the essential elements including:
7 hours coverage
Password protected online gallery (great for family & friends)
All high resolution photographs, professionally edited & supplied on USB
50 Thank You cards
From there you can customise your package, adding on anything from extra hours, engagement sessions to Fine-Art Books and Albums.
Pricing?
Please contact me for some more information on my services, pricing & packages.
How do we book you for our Wedding?
A deposit of $1000 is required to secure your day. This is a non-refundable payment that simply comes off the total of your package.
How do we know how many hours we will need? Or what to get in a package?
Don’t worry!! Usually most of my couples are still 6-24 months away from their wedding and have no idea how many hours they will need! I work together with all my couples to figure out exactly how much coverage they would like and what elements they want in their package.
When is the final payment due?
The final payment is due approx. 4 weeks before your wedding.
What kind of equipment do you use?
I use both film and digital equipment. Contax 645 (medium format) and Canon 35mm film bodies. Canon digital bodies, with prime lenses. I also always carry back-up equipment.
We are a bit nervous in photos! Will you give us any guidance?
I can totally relate! I don’t love getting my picture taken either!! I like to incorporate a mixture of candid photographs and then during certain times of the day, I might give you a little more direction. Ultimately it’s about capturing you guys, so usually this direction will be something simple - just to make you feel relaxed and capture a genuine moment together.
How long till we can view our photographs?
Post production takes approximately 6-8 weeks, depending what time of the year your wedding may be. When your gallery is ready to view, I will contact you will the details.
